Get ready to unleash your creativity with nature as your muse! In this fun and inspiring class, you'll experiment with both natural and man-made materials to create stunning textured backgrounds using the wet-on-wet watercolor technique. These unique textures will serve as the perfect foundation for adding intricate details, drawing inspiration from trees, grasses, rocks, and branches.
Whether you're a fan of mixed media, watercolor landscapes, art journaling, abstract art, Zentangle, neurographic art, or even portraiture, this class offers endless possibilities to elevate your artistic practice. Come explore and have fun with a variety of techniques that will leave you with a beautiful, one-of-a-kind piece!

*please bring the following supplies. Art supply items can be purchased at Nevada Fine Arts. Mention you are taking a class and receive a 10% discount.

Small hand held hairdryer or heat gun

Craft lamp as needed with appropriate extension cords

Magnification as needed

Personal art supplies as desired
The following supplies are included with registration:

Watercolor or mixed media paper

A variety of natural and man-made items to create texture

Watercolor media in pencil, crayon, tube and pan form

The use of watercolor brushes and/or water brushes.

Examples of pieces in progress and completed artwork using techniques learned

Non-Refundable Fee: All class fees are non-refundable. Once your payment is processed, it is considered final.

Cancellations by the Shop: In the rare event that we need to cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances (such as instructor illness, insufficient enrollment, or other emergencies), participants will be offered a full refund or credit towards a future class.

Agreement: By registering for a class, you agree to this non-refundable policy. We recommend reviewing your schedule and availability before committing to a class.
